| made "true to size" or not. I'm not exactly sure what the true sizes are but I can describe the way my costume fit and that might help when deciding which size to purchase. My costumes are sized comparable to the size your child would wear in store bought jeans, I buy my own daughters a larger size in their tops, you wont need to do that with my costumes. Most of my costumes have a sash at the waist that ties in back for the thin girls, or an apron that has a sash that ties in the back. If you think you need a custom size, no problem! Just include your measurements for chest, waist, and length from the top of her shoulder to where you'd like the dress to end and order the closest size that I have listed. Length is measured from the top of her shoulder to where the dress ends... Child length sizes 12-18 months.............................25" 2/3............................................30" 4/5............................................34" 6/7............................................37" 8...............................................40" 10/12.........................................43" 14.............................................46" Adult length is 58 inches long, just mention if you need a custom length. |

| dressing up as a colonial girl for many different assorted events! This dress is made in quality machine washable fabric and can be worn as a regular dress so she can actually "Be" her favorite character! This Historical Costume includes the dress and pioneer bonnet, other clothing items can be purchased on the costume accessories page. Made in 100% cotton fabric, this country calico flowered dress is sure to be her favorite! The fabric is light sage green colored background covered in darker green dainty leaves and flowers, giving a little house on the prairie look to this Adorable outfit. The bodice is fully lined for better durability, princess seams give a more flattering dressy look, there is white lace trim around the sleeve ruffle and across the front of the bodice, the back closes with a zipper, and there is a sash that ties at the waist in the back for a better fit. The favorite part of this style prairie dress is the ruffle around the bottom of the hemline, the girls couldn't help but spin, with a full skirt and ruffle...even the older girls had to try it! There is plenty of room in this skirt to wear a hoop or petticoat for a fancier look. The pioneer bonnet is made in matching fabric and has a lined brim for extra strength, trimmed with white lace, and ties at the neck with satin ribbon.
